SmartCut's post-processor pipeline converts an optimised cutting layout directly into the CNC format your saw expects — no manual transcription, no intermediate software. Core formats are validated end-to-end against real saw hardware, so the file that leaves SmartCut is the file your saw runs.

SmartCut exports CNC files for 13+ beam saw models across eight vendors — Homag (PTX, CADmatic and CPOUT), Biesse OptiPlanner and Selco, Mayer, SCM, Schelling Commander, Giben, Striebig and Jingwei.
It depends on the machine — Homag uses PTX, Biesse and SCM use Biesse XML, Mayer uses .may and Schelling uses .nc. SmartCut emits the right format automatically from the optimised layout; the table above lists the format for each model.
